Gets to 99% and hangs. This is just some text to pad because I'm being told my comment is too short.

I downloaded this to convert docx to pdf. This tool is not allowing to select .docx file, even by choosing All Supported File option.

Converting doc to pdf is hanging at 99% status.

I had to convert a couple of CHM files to PDF recently and found PDF Converter quite promising. Since it says to be capable of converting a lot of different formats, it looked like a good investment. To make a long story short: It doesn't do it's job.

1) When launching the application, a dialog pops up allowing you to select your source file. It is impossible to paste a path to quickly switch to another folder. You have to click you trough by each folder - this is annyoing when your source files are buried a bit deeper in your folder hierarchy. Especially when it comes to batch converting more than 1 file!

2) Once the file is selected, I started the conversion. The progress bar went up to 99% and .... - nothing. The conversion never finished even after waiting for 10 hours!

Maybe PDF Converter doesn't work with WinXP, SP3?

when I try to convert a word file to pdf it hangs up at 99%.
There is not documentation for the program. I have no help in making sure the program is installed right.

I was hoping the software would open .sig files (those native to Print Shop) as it advertised. However, I tried several times and the program could not recognize, let alone open, the file I needed to convert. For "normal" or "supported" file types (although it advertised that it could open .sig files - which is how I came across it in the first place) I'm sure it's good. The interface was simple enough for use on first try - even without reading any help files, etc.

I tried several attempts to convert some files but it froze at 99% and stayed there for at least 10 mins on one instance. I couldn't get any files to convert so I would have to say I was unhappy with the program.

The user-interface is not intuitive, and the software didn't work.

I tried converting several different .dwg files, and they all caused the program to hang @99% for >5 mins.

Gave up and uninstalled.

Price is very good, hence my interest, but the software was not easy to use 'out of the box' and, as mentioned didn't work anyway.
